This is my first Uncharted game. I’ve heard that it’s an amazing game. It had a lot of hype when it came out. I decided to play it this year.
The graphics are beautiful. Some characters are likable and interesting. It has action packed cut scenes.
    BUT….the things that I couldn’t ignore was:
    1) Elena got on my nerves every single time she came on. I tried to like her but she was just a drag. Why did Nate marry her?
    2) Nate is aware he needs to prepare for the trip to find the missing treasure, so why does he not bring tools? Why does the game give you a 1800 pickaxe? You’re a well known treasure hunter and you can’t even bring the adequate equipment. Lara Croft was more prepared than you.
    3) Nate knows he has people after him. So… Where is his arsenal? I wish he could hold a variety of weapons.
    4) The way they resolved Nate and Elena’s dispute was WEAK. I didn’t feel the chemistry between them. It felt more as if it was being forced. Nate deserves better.
    5) At the end it dragged a bit. I kept losing interest once you find the hidden city.
    6) They did a happy ending for all even when some didn’t even deserve it.
    7) The villain was not interesting. Worse when you fight him at the end. The fight was…let me say it again…WEAK!
    8) I wanted to skip the epilogue. It didn’t warm my heart. It was a stale ending. Where’s the skip button?
Overall, this is my opinion. Is it worth the hype? For me, NO. I don’t regret playing it. It was fun for most parts. Again, the graphics are amazing. It had the potential to be better.

I have several things to say about this game, all of them good. I have to credit the writers. I thought the story was compelling, the characters interesting, and the mystery behind Avery thrilling. The visuals definitely add to this. The enviornment is so beautiful i often found myself just running around or stopping completely to stare at it. From a technical standpoint the mechanics handle well. There werent any noteworthy glitches, and as a beginner to the series, i found the structure of the game easy to grasp and the controls intuitive.

Great game — if you’ve enjoyed any of the previous games in this series, you’ll love this. The physical game had no issues. Arrived a bit slow, but it’s a pandemic so it’s kind of expected.

I got into the Uncharted series nearly a year ago, I know I’m a little late 🤣. But I got to say this is probably one of the best PlayStation games I have ever played. And that’s saying a lot!

This game is good enough that I’ve now bought and played through it twice. I first played it when it was released and remembered it as a must have. Suffice to say my memory didn’t deceive me. Great visuals and a phenomenal story. Gameplay and overall experience is worth every penny it costs even upon revisiting.

Loved the game. Completed all 23 chapters. Best adventure and shooting game ever. I sadly didn’t get the hits version of the game so wrong information given by seller. One star deducted for that. But, I got a version that was working and got it early so that counts as a bonus. I’ve played the whole series and so far, I think that this is the best one in the series.

If you liked any of the other Uncharted games, this game is more of the same, and wraps up the part of series that deals with Nathan Drake’s story quite nicely. Definitely worth it for greatest hits prices.

If you haven’t played the series yet, the Uncharted games are third-person adventure games with puzzles and fast-moving combat (or stealth if you choose to go that route). Think the current crop of Tomb Raider games and you’ll have an idea of the gameplay (though the storytelling in the Uncharted games is way better IMO). Controls can be a bit wonky at times and the AI is not the smartest in any game, but if you enjoy playing a game where there is a lot of focus on the story, these are definitely worth a try. I’d suggest grabbing the original trilogy first if you’re thinking of trying them out.
