I looked online for reviews to see if it is worth the buy but a lot of hardcore Minecraft players suggested skipping this one. Thankfully, I ignored the hate and bought it anyway. I haven’t been disappointed since the day I started a new world and I’m enjoying every minute of it. It’s definitely one of the must haves while on the go with your Nintendo Switch.

Some people complain about the performance on the Switch. I have ZERO problems. My son and I play it on a multitude of systems. The Switch loads quickly and builds worlds fast. The loading of the world around you can have a delay and using the + / START menu hit will cause a stutter in gameplay for a moment. ALL systems do that.
As for the delay of loading the eorld around you, it is mostly in split screen mode. That makes sense. The system is running two entirely different executions simultaneously.
I give this game 5/5 stars. The Mario mashup pack is worth 1/2 the sticker price of the game as it is. A lot of fun and hogh quality content.

For years I haven’t been able to play Minecraft because I didn’t have a PC or anything like that, but I recently discovered it came onto switch! I jumped at the opportunity and ordered a copy.
It runs very well, plays very well. I will say if you’re used to playing it on a computer it takes time to adjust how you’re used to playing it to the new format/controls, but once you have that you’re good. Overall good game. I’m thrilled with my purchase.

My kids favorite game by far. They love learning how to build, spawn and grow their worlds. Problem is getting them to stop for a while. Not as violent as other games. More focused on the building/creating than the attacking.
