Disclaimer: I have a big head. And these are uncomfortable headphones. So that is the reason for 4 stars. However, the sound experience is off the charts. Playing BF2042 and it is amazing. When a tank explodes beside you and the controller shakes…it’s as close to being there as you can replicate. And COD MW2 is awesome as well. However NHL23 is not optimized for these so EA you gotta pick up your game!

So simply put, this works and does what it needs to.
Pros-
Almost zero setup
Charging time is fast
Battery is solid
Cons-
No ANC (aka everyone knows what is happening around you)
Not ulta comfortable , I get irritated after about 3 hours of wearing it (hidden pro for limiting game time perhaps?)
Lack of integration with the controller mute button
All in all, if you’re just a casual player this will work fine. If you are pro or semipro I’d go with something fancier.

After trying several different Bluetooth adapters in attempt to use two brands of noise cancelling headphones that I already own; Bose QC45 and Sony headphones with a PS5; I ended up buying the Sony Pulse3D PS5 headphones. They work WAY better with no connection issues. The best feature is that because it’s a Sony product all you do is plug it in and turn them on and they WORK!! It switches automatically over to headphone audio just by turning them on. Super easy and they sound great. Don’t waste your valuable time or money on other products. I can use these to watch movies and TV late at night and crank up the sound as loud as I want without disturbing my kids while they sleep. 5/5

I bought these for my PS5 naturally and the sound is flawless. The headset fully integrates into the system providing full control over audio, chat and mic. The 3D sound is amazing. This is definitely how games were meant to be heard. This will be the only set I ever use for my gaming. On the down side; I can’t connect them to my iPhone because there’s no headphone jack or a way to connect the dongle. But they’re comfortable and the sound is amazing.

Been using these for a while now and figured I’d write an honest review.
First, the sound is crisp and clean. The 3D setting for the PS5 is so fun! It took me a while to understand the calibration but after playing Horizon: Forbidden West for many hours I can say that these are well worth the buy.
Some things I don’t like, my ears press against the inside ever so slightly that after a few hours they begin to hurt. I can shift the headphone’s placement a bit to alleviate the pain for a while but at some point I have to take them off. Not a deal killer for me as I take frequent breaks anyway, but I can see how some folks with certain ear shapes or people who game a lot like streamers might not appreciate it.
Aother issue I have I think is the fault of the PS5. After using them for a while, the audio crackles intermittently for a minute or two, but these headphones seem perfectly fine when used with other equipment.
One final note, when using these headphones (or any pair of headphones with a built-in mic) anyone in the party chat can hear an echo of themselves which is obnoxious. I get around that by using the ps app on my phone for party audio, but it’s a bummer that a decent pair of headphones can’t serve both functions.
Overall, I love these things and I use the all the time.

I have had off brand, cheap, and wired headsets for as long as I’ve been gaming. I just got a PS5 and was tired of dealing with cords. I read reviews and everyone said go with the Sony pair, not an off brand. I was nervous, but I got them and LOVE THEM. The sound quality is perfect, I cannot hear anything else when I have them on, and I have had zero issues with the mic itself, as I play online games with several people. Go with this headset, seriously!

This is my first time owning a wireless headset but it was worth the money cause I needed a new headset and I always wanted these from the beginning but they work great they feel great definitely recommend these
