I ordered the physical $50 MicroSoft Points Card for Xbox Live. I used if for Xbox 360 Games. The card arrived in proper packaging (bubble wrap manila envelope) and it arrived on time, so no complaints there.

On the $50 Car, I peeled down the cardboard paper back, to then expose the area where you “scratch off” the grey sticker bar, so as to see the 24 digit code.

A tip: don’t “scrap” or “scratch” off the grey sticker bar with anything. Just gently lift up the edges and very carefully peel back the grey sticker bar to expose the code points. It’s better and just less messy to do it this way. Scrapping and scratching can damage the card and make it difficult to read the code.

Enter the 24 digit code into your Xbox Live Account and you are good to go! The $50 is added into your account balance!

$50 MS Points can certainly go a long way in buying a variety of DLC (downloadable content) for games you already own. It’s also good for buying Downloadable Games on Xbox Live Arcade and in their On-Demand Store.

$50 might be pricey for some, but its worth it because you get the amount of MS points you paid for. Just remember that Xbox has shifted from the old MS Points System over to numerical dollar amounts.

So, if there is a DLC that costs $5.99, you will be paying exactly $5.99 out of the total balance in you Xbox Live Account, and not some obscure number like 800, 1200, 1600, 2400, or 4000 MS Points like with the older method.

Anyway, enough rambling on my part. The $50 MS Points Card is definitely worth the purchase!

Muy útil si puedes utilizarla pues al ser en dólares americanos, sólo puede redimirse en cuentas de EEUU. Así que si tu consola es de otra región, no podrás hacer uso del saldo.

OJO: no comprar si no puedes redimir saldo. Checar región de tu consola y de tu cuenta Microsoft o pedir a un amigo extranjero que realice las compras por ti y te “regale” los juegos que deseas ;).

I needed buy an app in Microsoft store. Having a Rupay card it is not possible for me via traditional method, because microsoft only accepts visa or master card in India. So i bought this gift card which can be used as a alternative either to buy an app or something within app.
Only set back is that card value is in $ so you have to change your computer/ windows phone region to America (US) , thats it.

Seller is kind enough to reply every email you throw at him/her. It takes almost 7-10 days to reach something from amazon but on my request seller emailed me the gift card code. So yeah it was an awesome experience as it was completely unexpected when i had lost all hopes.

I read some reviews regarding these cards and was almost afraid to place the order. Some people claimed that the code can become damaged with scratching. I purchased several of these and did not have the issue with a single one. However, I did do some testing to see what it takes to damage them.

The first thing to know is that the surface is meant to be scratched off, the rectangular section is NOT meant to be peeled. Peeling off the sticker can cause damage to the code. Basically, the code is printed onto the cardboard sheet provided. Then, a clear adhesive is applied to the top of the code. Finally, the scratchable surface coats that adhesive. So, the goal is to scratch off the coating without damaging the adhesive. Even with a sharp knife, this is easily done. Do not use something serrated(jagged) as you can pierce and damage the protective adhesive. Even running a sharp knife back and forth over the coated (silver) area well after having removed the coating caused no damage to the code itself. Instead layers of the adhesive shed and the remaining layers continued to protect the code.

    These cards are well-made.

This card I bought to get premium on BF4 unfortunately on top of $49.99 for the upgrade they charge tax which required me to buy another lower amount card – the minimum being $15 which I just picked up at my local shopping center – so I didn’t get a bargain by buying this online it was readily available at any major retailer. Also if the item you are buying this one for is $49.99 you will have to buy another $15 card to cover the taxes – kind of a jip – Thanks Microsoft !!!!
