Este control es una gran opción para disfrutar de contenido en tu PS5, botones ya programados para accesar rápidamente a Netflix, Spotify, Youtube y Disney +.
Es de tamaño pequeño mide 15 cm aproximadamente lo que lo vuelve un poco frágil, sin embargo hay fundas muy baratas para protegerlo.
Por último y lo mejor es que no solo lo puedes usar para disfrutar entretenimiento en el PS5 sino para configurar y controlar tu TV.

If you watch movies, tv, streams, or youtube. Thks remote is a must own. Especially if you also game on your PS5. Too many times has a controller died and I set it on the dock to charge unable to watch stuff while I wait. This uses two AA’s and doesn’t need replacing often.

My son watches Netflix, and YouTube, most of the time on the PlayStation. I was getting tired of him using the controller to navigate to the entertainment apps. Now you can just turn on the PlayStation and just click on the Netflix button without asking me to help him every single time.

Tuve la suerte de encontrar el control en oferta y no dudé en comprarlo. Prefiero utilizar mi PS5 como hub central de entretenimiento por la rapidez de los apps de video en comparación a los de mi Smart TV y este control es mil veces mejor que el estar utilizando el Dualsense como control remoto.
Emparejar el control con mi PS5 tomó menos de un minuto y también funciona al controlar el volumen del sistema de sonido que tengo conectado a mi PS5 a través de HDMI.
No tiene botones especiales para TVs o sistemas de sonido ya que lo más que llega a hacer es prender/apagar tu TV o sistema de sonido y controlar el volumen.
El control se siente y luce bien; no se ve como un producto secundario con mal diseño.
No tengo queja alguna fuera de que los botones de acceso rápido (Netflix, Disney+) no se pueden programar para que abran alguna otra app pero no es algo grave en mi opinión.
Obviamente no es una compra que es requerida o necesaria, pero al menos yo estoy muy contento con el control.

Control se siente de buena calidad, los botones de la cruz se me hicieron muy separados para mi gusto y algo que me sorprendio y tuve que investigar es por que no me detectaba el micrófono mi ps5 y resulta que la funcion aun no esta disponible :/ te enciende y apaga tu TV sube y baja volumen y es todo. Si me controlara cambiar la fuente de mi TV y que el micrófono ya funcionaria hubieran sido 5 estrellas.

Got this for my PS5 to use as a dedicated remote for DVDs.
As others have stated, it’s not backlit and the symbols/text on the remote are rather faint so be sure to have a light near you when using (plus like me, reading glasses if needed!).
It lacks an eject button, but, YES, you can eject your disk (like you would using the game controllers).
to do this perform the following button presses and option selection:
1) Press the PS5 button to bring up screen/PS5 options 2) Navigate to HOME and select this using the center control button on the remote. 3) Press the option button on the remote, (the one on right two buttons up from the NETFLIX Button that has 3 horizontal lines on it 4) You will now see one option there labeled, “Eject Disk”. Navigate down to it and press the center control button (centered between the 4 vertical and horizontal tab buttons. The disk will eject.
To turn off the PS5, Navigate back to and select HOME using the remote and this time navigate to far right to the POWER button, navigate down the drop-down menu to the “PS5 OFF” option, select that and your PS5 will now power off. This remote bascially mimics the game controller navigation and function features.
Sony, you should have included an eject button for immediate disk ejection versus having to wade through menus on this remote, since using DVDs will probably be for most owners the main reason they purchased it.
The remotes PS5 button and OPTION button (with the 3 vertical lines on it) perform identically to the Game Controllers button options. Remember this and you’ll be able to select HOME and then see all of the usual options and menus you see using the game remote.
The other issues cosmetically for this remote are it nice curved base which makes it rock back and forth as well as too easy to tap it sideways and have it slide off your table like a hockey puke!
So 3 stars for poor design, and 5 stars for the fact that it does what is needed using the menus, for a 4 star over-all rating. Is it worth the $30?……..well, not quite, but, if you want a PS5 remote, you’re going to have settle to buy this one.

My universal remote required multiple profiles for TV and receiver. I had to switch between them to control volume or the PS5. Plus it sometimes didn’t work with some streaming apps. To return to the PS5 home I had to use the dual shock controller. PS5 media remote remedied all of that. I can return to the PS5 menu, control all my apps, and control my volume on my Sony receiver with one controller now instead of two.

This is a great remote. You don’t need to kill your controller battery anymore to stream a show. you can use it to access all the menus. You can download games and apps using the remote. I bought a off brand remote before this one and it killed the batteries fast. This has a great battery life. I use it all the time and never had to change the batteries out yet. Plus for a collector its screams PS5 aesthetics.

I’m not going to insert this remote into myself . With mostly flush buttons and a torpedo like design it seems like they were more focused on style than function. The dedicated app buttons would be better as programmable. Netflix, hire far you’ve fallen. Disney, every six months there’s a new show and they’re less and less desirable. Spotify? I have a phone! YouTube I use. Someone please make an alternate for YouTube. I hate it but I need it. Bluetooth is better than IR but has wigged out a couple times. Use it every day so 4 stars.

A great product if you don’t like keeping your controllers out just to watch a movie or put on your favorite streaming service.
This remote is great and honestly a must have if you use your PS5 for media. My only con is that it uses 2 AAA batteries. I wish it was rechargeable with USB-C for the price. But it still works like a charm.

I bought this so me and my boyfriend don’t have to keep using the controller to steam our shows. The controller constantly was dieing when we had it turned on all day bing watching so we immediately put the battery’s in and took less then 3 mins to connect this remote to the ps5 and less then 2 secs to connect to our smart tv. So quick it was impressive. I am glad I found this on Amazon and for 30 dollars it ain’t a bad deal. No more dieing controller! I am pleased , wish I would have found this sooner.
